2. If your pregnancy is viable: The only way to be 100% sure your pregnancy is progressing is with an ultrasound. Studies show up to 1 in 4 pregnancies may not progress. Some women don’t realize they’ve had a miscarriage until an ultrasound confirms it. If you’ve miscarried, you’ll need follow-up care from a doctor.
